“ I began doing pet portraits after a local magazine “What’s On and Where to Go” (www.whatsonwheretogo.com.au)  contacted  me to see if I’d be interested in doing pet portraits to accompany the  monthly  reader’s pet story.  Animals are an important enriching part of my daily life and I found I really enjoyed drawing them, especially thinking about the animal’s character while I am working on their portrait . People get  so much pleasure when they see their special companion’s portrait. It’s something I know they will treasure forever.”
